How Rapids Funding collects, uses and protects your information.
Who we are
Rapids Funding is a trade name of FT LLC (“Rapids Funding,” “we,” “us”). We are a business funding broker: we help businesses find financing from funding providers. This policy explains what we collect through rapidsfunding.com and our communications, and how we use and share it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, business name, industry, state, time in business, revenue range, the amount and type of funding you need, and anything else you include in an application or message.
- Documents you provide during the funding process, such as bank statements or tax returns.
- Text-message consent: whether you opted in to text messages, when, and the wording you agreed to.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through standard server logs.
How we use it
- To review your application and present funding options;
- To contact you about your application by phone, email and, if you opted in, text message;
- To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations;
- To protect against fraud and keep our site secure.
How we share it
To consider you for financing, we share your application information with funding providers in our network that may offer you funding, and with service providers who help us operate (for example, website hosting), under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile numbers and text-message consent
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described above and will not be shared with any third party, except with service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
If you opt in, we use your mobile number only to send messages from Rapids Funding Alerts about your funding application. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information by contacting us. We’ll respond as required by applicable law.
Children
Our services are for businesses and their owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with its date.
